IFPRI in Nepal
IFPRI has been actively engaged with the Government of Nepal (GoN) and the private sector in order to achieve inclusive economic growth and enhance food security through policy reforms in agriculture, agribusiness and agricultural trade. IFPRI, in collaboration with GoN, has been working to create an enabling environment for increasing agriculture productivity, better use of inputs (seed, fertilizer, agri-mechanization, phyto-sanitary measures, etc.), and promotion of agribusiness in the country. IFPRI also works in the area of climate risk management and scaling up of climate-smart agricultural technologies.
