IFPRI in Bhutan
IFPRI work in Bhutan aims to reduce poverty, ensure food security and improve the standards of living of people in Bhutan. We work towards improving the productivity of farming systems specially for the disadvantaged communities, enhancing smallholders’ access to markets, and capacity building of government institutions to implement policy research on the country’s food, agriculture, and natural resource sectors. IFPRI helped Government of Bhutan in developing their food policy.
