The Agricultural Transformation and Market Integration in ASEAN region: Responding to Food Security and Inclusiveness Concerns project (ATMI-ASEAN) organized its 2nd Regional Project Steering Committee Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand on 30 November 2019.
The ATMI-ASEAN national project focal points and researchers from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Viet Nam, and the Philippines, the Asian Farmers Association (AFA), Development of Human Resources in Rural Asia (AsiaDHRRA), SEARCA, IFAD, and IFPRI participated in the meeting.
The meeting discussed project activities, especially those to be completed in 2020. The discussion focussed more on finding solutions to challenges faced by all actors in the project. The agenda was discussions on National Studies, Technical Assistance (TA) in developing regional value chain road-mapping on the targeted commodities, the Network of Policy Advisors and Analysts in ASEAN Region (NePAAA), and High-level Policy Forum in 2020.
