In its first year, POSHAN conducted landscape analyses of policies, programs, actors, and networks to identify major evidence gaps on undernutrition, as well as to understand how the available evidence is currently being used to guide policies and practices for addressing undernutrition in India. Based on the findings of these analyses, POSHAN developed its two-pronged strategy for promoting the use of evidence in nutrition policymaking and practice by working with partners to support: 1) knowledge generation, and 2) knowledge mobilization. Read the POSHAN Strategy Note for details on POSHAN’s priority themes within these two areas and POSHAN’s stakeholders and partners.
